RG in the Community

RG believes in working within our communities and, as such, we support various charities, local hospices, schools, hospitals and care homes to ensure people get the best legal advice possible to help them support and protect their family and friends.

If you are a mother, father, sister, brother, son, daughter, husband, wife or grandparent then there are a host of services that we can help you with from prenuptial agreements, Making a Will, buying or selling a property to probate.

Fundraising (RG in the community)

RG is proud to be in its third year of its Free Will Campaign.  If you would like to be part of our Free Will campaign or benefit from monies raised please register your interest below.

Making a Will, in our opinion, is one of the most important things you can do for your family.  So why do so many people delay making a Will?   We believe if more people are made aware of the potential hardship facing their family and loved ones, without a Will in place, then more people would take the time to make one.

We have provided free Wills and advice to patients and their families in hospices such as Ellenor Lions, Greenwich & Bexley and Chestnut Tree. Our services have also been made available to local Schools in York, Horsham and Sidcup with families and friends being offered reduced legal fees and/or a donation from us to help towards long term fundraising.  We believe in investing in the future.

2014 – Will aid

In 2014 we raised over £8,300 for Will Aid by making a Will for free in exchange for a donation to Will Aid.  We are pleased to say the money raised has been shared by 9 UK charities, including ActionAid, Age UK, British Red Cross, Christian Aid, NSPCC, Save the Children, SCIAF in Scotland, Sightsavers and Trocaire in Northern Ireland.

1,233 solicitors’ took part in this initiative and we are proud to say we came 22nd in the Will Aid ‘money raised’ league table nationally and 3rd in the regional league table. We are committed to raising awareness, as well as the important benefits, to making a Will.  It is an opportunity to make your wishes clear but to ensure the law does not have the right to a share.
