If you have not made your wishes clear in your Will, the law of intestacy means that your assets will pass according to a defined set of rules |

If you are not married but have a partner, your partner will not inherit your assets unless that is in your Will |

If you are married, your spouse may only inherit a part of your assets, unless you have a Will |

| |

Without a Will, you will have no control about who is appointed as Guardian of your children |
